The frames

Hi Emma, the frame stamps in the 'Gum Trees' layout are designed by Zina Wright, I got them from Scrapboxx. Actually I'm not sure if the rectangular frame is by Zina, or if it's a Bam Pop one, I did a few stamps at the same time and did watercolour washes over them. But the Bam Pop one is smaller than Zina's rectangular frame.

Hope that helps!

Fun in Mornington

On Saturday evening... the kids had an absolute ball getting drenched and playing in the water.

Adelaide Photo Sessions

I have organised a trip to Adelaide at the end of February, and I am available for photography sessions from the 29th February to the 6th March, if anyone is interested ;)

As with my Sydney trip last year, I will be offering $300 sessions. This includes the sitting itself plus all high-res, edited photos from the session (at least 40 individual images, some processed in both b&w and colour, plus the occasional arty edit) on a disc, which will be delivered by mail up to 4 weeks later.

This top pic is one of my faves from my Sydney sessions. The wedding pic is my favourite from Ben's stepsister's wedding a couple of years ago, but there is some more recent wedding photography in my flickr.

Weddings are $700, which includes 4 hours coverage and all high-res, edited photos on disc, with the majority of images supplied in both b&w and colour. Just FYI, LOL ;)

It is Friday, isn't it?

Cool stuff to share this week:

Q Tea now has an official Creative Team, and a fabulous line up of guest designers through the year... posted here. Q Tea also has a flickr group now, too, making it easier for customers to share their projects using Q Tea items.

Have a look at this post on my GORGEOUS friend Lusi's blog, I was so flattered and touched and all smily and stuff when I saw her layout, isn't she beautiful? And pretty darn talented herself, I have to say. OK, enough with the mutual love fest, I know, but it had to be said :)

I was invited to be 'star 9' on the Scrapping with the Stars competition at Scrap Therapy - I had a giggle at the idea of being called a 'star', LOL, but it was fun answering the questions and coming up with a challenge. Check it out here

Later today, I believe, a layout or two of mine will be included on the Aussie Scrap Source blog, featuring Sassafras Lass products. I get my Owl Pals from Kiti Q, of course, and the Indian Summer papers I got from Scrapniques.

Got to introduce the kids to baby Bodie yesterday, had a nice visit with my friend Reeze and the little man himself, here's a new pic.

I know I had stuff I wanted to post during the week, but have totally mentally blanked out about it, so this will have to do! Have a great weekend!

Pics and Sienna's 'dancing'

Squarepusher Theme by Squarepusher is Sienna's favourite song at the moment. I know this because it is the song she asks for every time I go to put on music, in the car or in the house. She says "put on 'tsk-tsk' dancing" and says "no" to every song except this one "yes, this one!"

Funny girl

Had a busy weekend almost totally away from the computer, and now after a morning of emailing and blogging and so on, I am sick of the screen again! But before I go to fold washing and make lunch, thrilling as those jobs will be, here are a few pics:

Two art journal pages for the 'Got Paint' workshop I'm doing

A layout using the layered paint stamping technique

I made this doll dress yesterday for my friend's daughter. Rosie and her girls stayed over on Saturday night and all day Sunday, after I met them at the St Andrews market at midday on Saturday. I picked up a beautiful skirt for Sienna and some great little wooden building blocks that Ash just adores. Anyhow, Arwyn, Rosie's youngest, got this funny bendy doll for a couple of dollars, but she had no clothes on. I decided to make a dress for her, though I have not made doll clothes since I was a kid myself. It has inspired me to make interesting clothes for Sienna and Alannah's dolls. Because I need another hobby, LOL.

Since she asked...

Someone asked me to upload more pregnancy shots, so I've just uploaded a bunch to my flickr - I am still not finished editing Reeze's pregnancy photos, though, as I did two sessions with her! These are a couple of my faves.

Creating, and class kits

Here are another couple of layouts, both done last night just for fun!

These ones (to follow) are all class kits coming up for Kiti Q - with Crop For Kids coming up (where Kiti Q will have a shop), we decided to get a variety of class kits ready. So they most likely will become available until March, at the event itself at least.

My 'Got Paint' art journal

A few days ago I started Em's 'Got Paint' online workshop at Big Picture Scrap- booking. It goes for four weeks, and is all about playing with paint, which I love to do! This is my art journal from the first week, which was a bunch of experiments with painting, and then I used the painted pages as backgrounds to make art journal pages, which was totally fun.

Art, scraplifting Celine and meeting Bodie

The final deck of me card - the theme was 'Art' and so I just made my card kinda arty, LOL. The back has a piece of a children's book that says "I look at things. Then, in my mind, I take them apart and put them together in new and wonderful ways. Sometimes I write poems or paint pictures to show how things might be. I make believe."

And here is the current resting place for my deck of cards - the are on a big card ring, and hooked inside an unlined lamp on a cupboard in my foyer. Yes, the 'l' from the cover of my 'feel good file' has come off, hehe, I must repair that ;)

This is a scraplift of a layout by Celine Navarro for a 'scraplift challenge' on her blog - check it out here. She is so much fun to be inspired by, and this photo of our nephew Ben is one of my favourite baby photos. And speaking of babies....

Meet Bodie Dennis Ingram, the newborn baby boy of my friends Teresa and Nath. He is small (6pd 5oz or something like that) and completely adorable! If you read my sister's Kell's blog you'll have seen some pics already, here are a few I took last night. I've added a set to my flickr so will be popping new ones there as I edit them. Congratulations Nath and Reeze! He is just beautiful.

This is beautiful...

sad, but beautiful. I know the film is sad too but I still want to see it. Among others.
