A friend of mine has two sons at Olinda Primary School, a school up the mountain from us that has less than 20 students total. Anyway the two of them and their classmates made a short film for Wakakirri - the national story festival. They were just entering originally as a school project, but are currently second in their category for the people's choice award in the competition! There are a few days left in November for voting.
If you'd like to help them out, go to the Wakakirri website, People's Choice section and category Story-Film. In the search results box on the right, Olinda Primary's entry "Revenge of the Litter Collectors" is the second one down - click here to go straight to their page. Under the film you can click to vote. This involves entering your email, clicking on the link in the validation email you receive and then entering the email address again to actually vote. Thanks for taking a few minutes to support some great kids!
