Still needing a smidge of oxygen, but down to only one antibiotic, appetite increasing and getting so much better!
The thingy (on his toe) that measures his oxygen saturation, the number that guides our days (and nights)...
Getting about the hospital room...
The picture Sienna made for him, which she tries to take home with her every time she visits :P The concept of a gift doesn't always sink in... :)
My set up...
And Cedar's stash of playthings, some ours and some the hospital's, in front of the fold-out sofa that is the parents bed.
Ben flew over on Saturday morning and, after spending a night with the older kids at my folks place, stayed in the hospital for a couple of nights. I had a bit of freedom and pizza and managed to pick up a few handy things from the shops. He flew home again last night. It looks like we will drive home this weekend at this point, though it is a waiting game with no guarantees, of course. 12 nights and days so far.
This weekend Outback Pride are at the Adelaide Good Food Show at Wayville Showgrounds, for any Adelaide peeps who like yummy scrummy things... I might see if I can pop in to the Bowerbird Bazaar that is on Friday night or Saturday. Depending on what has been happening! But I do hope so, it looks fab, and since I'm missing the Finders Keepers market all you Melbourne lovelies will no doubt be visiting...
AND THEN next weekend (16th / 17th October) I will be back to complete some of the postponed Curiouser photo sessions! Here is another shot - above - from the session I did fit in this trip before Cedar got sick... I have a slot or two free, so if anyone was thinking about it, let me know - prices and info here and my email is danielle@curiouser.com.au :)

Hi Dan, so good to hear that Cedar is getting better and that you will be home soon. Take care and big hugs for all the kidlets.
So glad to see baby Cedar up and about and playing and getting better day by day!
Poor baby! It must've been hard to see him this way.
Glad he's better!!
